Flour

Flour is a mandatory addition to an ALL WEATHER suet cake. Adding Flour will bind the meat fat with the suet cake ingredients so that it will not melt during warm weather. There is not necessarily a health benefit to adding flour to a suet cake.

If you are creating a suet cake for COLD WEATHER there is no need to add flour to the recipe.
