Gnocchi, Bacon and Mushrooms

A perfect combination of salty and savory. Fresh cooked bacon tossed with garlic, olive oil and mushrooms then tossed with gnocchi and topped with Parmesan cheese.

What you need

1 LB Bacon
1 Package Gnocchi
1 8 OZ Package Mushrooms of your Choice
3 TBSP Olive Oil
3 Cloves Garlic
Salt & Pepper

Start by cutting the bacon into small pieces and pan frying. As you need to, pour of the grease (fat) into your You Do It Suet® mold. While your cooking the bacon, start a pot of boiling water to cook the gnocchi. When the bacon is fully cooked, set aside. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil into the pan you used to fry the bacon. Chop the garlic and add to the pan. Saute the garlic for 3 minutes. Add the mushrooms and saute until soft. When the pot of water begins to boil, add your gnocchi and cook as per the directions on the package. Once the gnocchi is fully cooked, toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and salt and pepper to taste. Toss the gnocchi with the mushrooms and garlic, add the bacon. Toss well. Top with Parmesan cheese.
