Seed Cake

1 TBSP Unflavored Gelatin
2 TBSP Cold Water
1/3 Cup Boiling Water
1 Cup Bird Seed

In the You Do It Suet® mold mix 1 TBSP unflavored gelatin with 2 TBSP cold water, add 1/3 cup boiling water. Mix in 1 cup of bird seed. Freeze. Release seed cake from the You Do It Suet® mold. Feed the birds.

What is Gelatin?

Gelatin is a colorless, flavorless food derived from the collagen obtained from animal by-products.  The collagen is extracted from the bones, skin and connective tissues of animals such as: chickens, pigs, cattle and fish.

Where Can I Buy Gelatin?

You can buy gelatin at your local grocery store.  It can be found packaged in bulk or in single use packets.  You can find gelatin in the Jell-o isle.
