We are very excited to be partnering with Fresh Eggs Daily® to bring you suet cake recipes for chickens!

Did you know that chickens, just like birds LOVE to eat suet? Whether you are creating a suet cake using excess fat from cooking meat OR want to give your chickens a little extra treat made of coconut oil and herbs, your chickens will thank you!  Creating suet cakes using ingredients found in most kitchens the possibilities are endless.  Just pick a base such as meat fat or coconut oil and add in simple ingredients such as: cinnamon, herbs, bird seed, cracked corn, raisins, peanuts and more! Once your suet cake is hardened, release the suet cake from the You Do It Suet® mold and place in a cage feeder for your chickens to enjoy.
